Pre-school through high school students and youth groups learn by interacting with artifacts, trying hands-on activities, viewing historic footage of people clamming and making buttons, and participating in special projects. Programs range from 30 minutes for pre-school to a 90-minute option for more in-depth study beginning at the middle school level.

Industry Center staff works with teachers to develop programs that meet specific curriculum standards. Teachers and youth group leaders are encouraged to contact the Industry Center several weeks in advance to create a customized learning experience.

Teachers are also needed to serve on the Education Committee. The committee provides important guidance in developing programs that best meet the needs of teachers and students. For more information about the committee, please call 563-263-1052.
